US Head of Business Operations – Sanofi DCV
The Sanofi DCV US Head of Business Operations leads a large, cross-functional organization supporting multiple therapeutic areas. S/he provides strategic, insight-driven consultation to senior leadership driving best in class operational infrastructure and services aligned to delivering US business objectives.
S/he will lead a broad team of 35+ professionals committed to excellence in Business Intelligence and Analytics, Market Research, Forecasting, and Field Training. This includes responsibility for the long term strategic vision as well as daily operations related to these areas.
The role will also have the additional responsibility as the central business partner for DCV business to represent the BOS Cross GBU functional teams. Specifically, this entails collaborating with the BOS Cross GBU functions (MCE Operations, Sales Support, Meeting Support, Data Management and State Reporting) to ensure DCV business needs are met. The BOS Cross GBU functions retain the accountability for their respective deliverables across the businesses.
In this role, the successful candidate will ensure best in class services, working closely with colleagues in the Global Business Operations and Global Insights & Analytics teams, as well as the Head of Sales and Business Unit Heads, to develop and prioritize an evolving landscape of tools, data and services. In addition, s/he will partner with senior leadership to identify and successfully implement opportunities for efficiencies, fostering an organization of continual process improvement.
Along with leading the team, the US Sanofi DCV Head of Business Operations will:
Implement collaborative format with BUs to ensure alignment with business objectives, prioritization of initiatives and support accountability through performance measurement of BO&S
Responsible for budget management and allocations
Participate with Global & Regional US BO&S, Global Insights & Analytics, ITS/Chief Data Office to leverage resources, implement best practices and governance
Represent US Sanofi DCV in development of global initiatives and lead implementation of global initiatives within the country
15+ years of experience in strategic and operational business planning in the pharmaceutical industry
Substantial sales, marketing, commercial or market research experience including working on a diverse brand mix (experience of new and mature), product launch experience, market analytical and forecasting ability
Proven track record in managing large organizations
Science, Management or related degree
Strong strategic marketing, field sales strategy, analytical and planning skills across multiple therapeutic areas
Advanced degree, MBA preferred
Leadership of multidisciplinary teams to effective implementation of strategy
Ability to collaborate with multiple external vendors and managed service partners
Clear communication style that will inspire and direct teams
Result-driven, customer focus
Ability to communicate with influence to achieve results
