Sanofi Group Global Head of Transparency in Bridgewater, New Jersey

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic oversight for Sanofi aggregate spend/transparency program

  • Lead Global organization, coach and develop team members

  • Serve as Global Transparency subject matter expert for all Sanofi legal entities globally

  • Provide oversight and governance aggregate spend/transfer of value data integrity and disclosure

  • Understand and implement new and evolving Transparency regulatory requirements

  • Consult with country/local Sanofi organizations to ensure readiness and implementation of global programs based on global guidance and support

  • Establish Sanofi global policies and procedures for Transparency

  • Establish Sanofi global Transparency KPIs and dashboards

  • Manage various stakeholder relationships across global business units

  • Responsible for creating a compliant reporting environment to ensure requirements associated with the US Federal and various State Laws, industry code requirements, including Patient Group Reporting are met

  • Manages the planning, development, testing, implementation, and on-going maintenance of various aggregate spend tools in close collaboration with IT and other business stakeholders.

  • Maintain and enhance aggregate spend data collection and reporting, support the development of a strategy for transparency and disclosure reporting, and lead collaborative efforts to decrease data integrity risk

  • Interpret regulations, develop and implement policy related to federal and state and aggregate spend regulations. Additionally, provide expertise, guidance and support to executive decision makers in matters related to the regulations including risk assessments and appropriate operating procedures to mitigate risk

  • Collaborate with internal and external counsel to communicate interpretation of transparency regulations

  • Work with ITS, translate complex reporting/compliance requirements into efficient systems and processes

  • Research and recommend 3rd party vendor support if needed to fulfill reporting obligations

  • Ensure all functional team activities are conducted in compliance with internal and external systems, technology, regulatory requirements, and related policies and procedures

  • Manage growth of the Global Transparency team to support the long-term vision and corporate strategies

  • Provide insight and feedback on local/in-country Transparency operations to ensure long-term vision and corporate strategies are met

  • Oversee and develop data analytics to be used for monitoring and share with business stakeholders

Job Related Experience

  • 5+ years of Transparency or related experience required

  • 5 years of direct people management experience

  • Experience managing audits, inspections, and health/regulatory authority disclosures preferred


  • Ability to lead and challenge multifunctional teams

  • Strong understanding of Transparency (transfer of value disclosure) operational activities

  • Experience in managing vendors and external business partners

  • Ability to champion strategic change initiatives and promote innovation

  • Understands the impact of change and effectively implements new approaches

  • Conflict resolution, and ability to facilitate decision-making

  • Ability to conduct effective meetings

  • Self-starter attitude

  • Able to work self-supported (able to produce documents independently, with low level supervision)

  • Budget/resource management experience

  • Ability to prepare and deliver presentations to upper management

  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project

  • Performance-oriented

  • Issue identification and resolution

  • Negotiation skills

  • Ability to operate in a cross-functional environment

  • Professionalism and demonstrates solidarity with organization and team members

  • Customer focus; interpersonal savvy with respect for people

  • Good communication skills (English written and oral required)
