Sanofi Group Director, Total Talent Solutions, Operations NA in Bridgewater, New Jersey

The Director of Total Talent Solutions for North America is expected to function in both strategic and consultative roles, partnering with the Talent Leaders, Business Stakeholders, and HR Leaders to identify and define current and future workforce needs. This will include direct oversight of all Talent Acquisition operations, budget, systems, processes, and staff utilization. The individual will design recruitment solutions and manage all outsourced partners and selected vendors across North America to ensure regional TA teams can successfully operate and scale to address business needs. The position will have (1) direct report at the Analyst Level.

Reporting to the Head of Total Talent, this position will be accountable for executing these strategies through collaboration with the Talent Team, HR Leaders, and External Partners across North America to ensure the timely and cost-effective identification and selection of high-quality talent necessary to achieve our Play To Win strategies.

Operational Management:

  • Ensures operational excellence of centralized strategic staffing programs, processes, policies and technology for all Sanofi businesses and locations across North America

  • Engages in ongoing design and evaluation of both strategic staffing processes and monitor daily staffing operational methodology and tools to ensure staffing efficiencies, continuous improvement

  • Deliver staff training and communication of all process changes and upgrades to technology and staffing model to all engaged in recruitment across

  • Act as Subject Matter Expert on talent acquisition policy, process, systems, compliance and structure.

  • Drive alignment and harmonization across the region with Global TA COE.

  • Control, monitor and review KPIs weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly and correctly aligned to country and business stakeholders goal and strategies

  • Ensure accurate management and tracking of all related budgets

Reporting & Metrics:

  • Develops templates, metrics, reporting processes, and other aspects of system performance to monitor North America Operations

  • Collects and gathers data to understand performance and determine “root causes”

  • Provides monthly updates to the Talent /HR Leadership Team on key metrics. Summarizes overall results and analyze trends, issues and provide recommendations to improve performance

  • Successful performance against staffing metrics including, but not limited to: Number of Positions Filled, Time to Fill, Diversity, Source of Hire, Offer/Acceptance, Cost Per Hire, and other internal measurements and standards that drive an effective talent acquisition process

Process Improvement:

  • Identifies gaps/issues with the Workday and other internal systems

  • Participates as Subject Matter Expert in projects to harmonize the staffing processes and responsibilities across North America in conjunction with our Global CoE.

  • Works closely with the Talent Teams to identify operational issues for process improvement

  • Leverage technology solutions when possible to streamline processes to maximize the Talent Team’s role. Make recommendation to eliminate non-value added work with a focus on continuous improvement.


  • Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred

  • Graduates from global business school good experience working across borders and international exposure a plus

  • Project Management Certification


  • 8 years (+) experience in staffing industry, Recruitment Process Outsourcing

  • 8 years (+) experience recruiting in a large, complex organization

  • Strong vendor relationship management skills; ideally implemented a vendor model

  • Strong project and change management skills & disciplines required

  • Understanding of sourcing strategies and tactics and how to build and maintain talent pipelines

  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of recruiting methods, recruiting marketing, and techniques, and ability to drive results

  • Exhibit sophistication and savvy to partner and advise senior leadership

  • Demonstrated relationship management/partnership skills with particular focus on HR leaders, line executives, and affiliated support functions.

  • Proven ability to proactively communicate change management initiatives with all levels of employees.

  • Significant expertise in the development, production and distribution of metrics relative to key measures of recruiting effectiveness

  • Strong business acumen, ability to work in a complex, cross-functional team environment
