Sanofi Group Director, Performance Analytics, US BOS Primary Care in Bridgewater, New Jersey

Job Summary:

This role is part of the US General Medicines Business Operations Support (BOS) team. The individual will be responsible for leading a team of analytics professionals to provide data driven strategic support to the General Medicines business unit. The individual will serve as a point of contact for both U.S. and Global Business Unit leaders for analyses, inquiries, and reporting related to the full General Medicines portfolio. The role will require significant interactions with the broader Business Operating Support team, NA Business Unit Head and Executive leadership team, various brand and field stakeholders with all levels of responsibility as well as business partners in various functions including finance, market access, etc. Significant emphasis will be placed on stakeholder management, communication, and a healthy sense of urgency in the ways of working.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the development of brand, field and business KPIs.

  • Proactively generate meaningful reporting and analytics on issues that align to the strategic and operational priorities, such as competitive entrants, market trends and dynamics, market access impacts, brand performance relative to forecast.

  • Oversee the tracking and reporting of business performance of brand portfolio in preparation for both weekly reporting and recurring business review meetings.

  • Implement efficient and, where possible, automated processes and procedures to support robust and timely reporting and analytics.

  • Leverage all primary and secondary market data sources for development of weekly and monthly insights and performance reporting.

  • Build processes and business relationships with key functional areas to ensure a culture of information and insights sharing, coordination of activities, and proactive rather than reactive mindset.

  • Collaborate with other US BOS functions such as assisting the forecasting team with event identification and quantification, Primary Market Research with quantification of HCP target pools, etc.

  • Responsible for career development, coaching, and performance management for direct reports.

Job Requirements:

  • Demonstrate proactive curiosity identifying business opportunities and risks through data and analytics.

  • Build and cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders built on trust, transparency and communication across Sales, Marketing, Finance, as well as other US BOS teams.

  • Establish standard weekly and monthly performance and execution KPI reporting and analytics.

  • Support business in addressing critical business questions through ad hoc deep-dive analytical projects.

  • Coordinate closely across Forecasting, Market Research, Advanced Analytics and Sales Operations to promote alignment of activities, information sharing, and efficient ways of working.

  • Bachelor’s degree; Advanced degree in Economics/Statistics preferred

  • 10-15 years of relevant experience
