Sanofi Group Data Analytics Lead in Bridgewater, New Jersey

Reporting to the Head of Sanofi Internal Audit Bridgewater Hub, the Data Analytics Lead will develop implement the Data Analytics strategy for the Hub in compliance with SIA Data Analytics strategy. The selected candidate will also be part of a cross-hub Data Analytics Center of Expertise – international team of three to four Hub Data Analytics Leads. As such, the selected candidate will be involved in the enhancement of the Data Analytics strategy for all the SIA function, coordinated by the Head of IS Audit.


  • The Data Analytics Lead will proactively develop and implement the Data Analytics Practice

  • Contribute to the design of Sanofi internal Audit strategy for data analytics

  • Implement the data analytics strategy for the Bridgewater hub

  • Suggest evolutions/enhancements for the overall data analytics process and systems, and notably connect Data Analytics capabilities to support the execution of the Audit Work program

  • Develop the Bridgewater hub auditors’ skills for them to become more data analytics savvy by formal training, training on the job and any other relevant mean

  • Share knowledge and experience with the members of the Data Analytics Center of Expertise

  • Be a source of reference for understanding data semantics (matching “business language” with “technical names”)

The Data Analytics LEAD will be in charge of providing necessary data and as well as relevant analysis to support the yearly risk assessment, to prepare the process audits and during fieldwork to support the team on the field. Before each assignment waves, understand the audit teams needs and then define and provide data analytics solutions to support them. After each assignments wave,:

  • gather feedback from audit teams about analysis usage, act upon the feedback in the sense of a continuous improvement process

  • Support the collection or collect directly the data, and filter / “clean” the data by notably reconciling against other data sources

  • Conduct the data analysis and refine /enhance it with the audit teams notably to reduce false positives

  • Visualize data from multiple perspectives using statistical and exploratory techniques to provide ongoing reports and insights to auditors

  • Acquire information from multiple data sources/systems and maintain an internal collection of data systems

  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns from complex data sets

  • Work closely with the audit team to prioritize


  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required.

  • Advanced degree is preferred.

  • A minimum of five years of professional work experience is required.

  • Previous experience working within a change management role is preferred.

  • In-depth knowledge in financial tools such as SAP, HFM, and ESSBASE) is preferred.

  • Previous experience with Data analytics in Big-Four accounting is preferred.

  • Hands-on experience on data analytics and visualization tools (Alteryx, Power BI, ACL, IDEA, QlikView, Tableau, SpotFire) and databases (Oracle, SQL, etc.) is preferred.

  • Fluency in Spanish and/ or Portuguese is preferred.

  • Ability to work out of our Bridgewater, N.J. campus is required.

  • Position may require up to 10% overall travel.
