Sanofi Group Customer Engagement Executive - Multiple Sclerosis/Immunology - South Central Region in Bridgewater, New Jersey

Position Summary :

Territory States Include: NC, SC, GA, FL, AL, MS, TN, IL, MO, AR, KS, NE, IA, WI, ND, SD, MN. Candidate may live within the South Central or Mid-Atlantic Region.

The Customer Engagement Executive will be a key contributor to the Market Access, Sanofi Genzyme team, with specific brand responsibilities for in-line and future product launches across a specialty portfolio. Lead responsibility for all tactical components of commercial payer marketing and strategy to include provider reimbursement and contracting support. This position will be unique in that it will support the development of market access account strategy. Success in this role requires the ability to think broadly across a portfolio of products that provide customer value.

Role Responsibilities :

The Customer Engagement Executive (CEE), Market Access, Sanofi Genzyme will report to the Sr. Director of Market Access. The role will focus in five areas: Account Director customer support, business analytics, strategic insight/input, knowledge transfer and communication

  • Account Director Support

  • Partner with Account Directors to drive customer focused strategies, tactical program execution to increase customer engagement and impact

  • Develop and implement programs, services, and communicate/operationalize best practices

  • Enhance the operational efficiency for the Account Team to facilitate excellence in execution, performance and allow Account Directors to focus on customer priorities

  • Partner with Account Directors and Senior Director to put together all pricing committee presentations. This includes ensuring all appropriate analytics and financial data are included

  • Business analytics and trends: Identify and develop analytics, metrics and KPIs to support payer strategic account planning, business objectives, opportunity assessment and progress measurement

  • Produce monthly dashboard to show progress of results to be shared with supported business units

  • Partner with Senior Director to develop and roll out business plans.

  • Adapt plans as needed during the course of year to meet changing business needs

  • Track business plan progress

  • Work with analytics to provide appropriate internal utilization data to teams

  • Rebate Contract Support-Track results of rebates contracts and provide monthly/quarterly dashboard reflecting those results

  • Maintain database of all existing contracts

  • Track overall impact of rebate contracts on GTN to ensure team is staying within goal- Collaborate with account team to enhance key customer relationships and engagement:

  • Support account team through being the program, tool and resource expert

  • Improve program/activity implementation

  • Triage, collaborate and engage Sanofi Genzyme home office teams to support payer opportunities as needed

  • Proactively prospect for new solutions to help account directors meet customer, patient and Sanofi Genzyme needs

  • Engage customers directly, where need, by account team

  • Identify, measure and track key performance indicators to determine program results/success and business impact

  • Responsible for managing meetings & conventions attendance, budgets, programs, etc.

  • Provide Strategic Insight & Input

  • Accountable to identify customer market trends, provide insights and opportunities to account leadership/team, brand, business intelligence, payer marketing

  • Focus on newly emerging national customer trends to support Sanofi Genzyme and USMA strategic plan

  • Proactively drive change to support national payer and Sanofi Genzyme short and long term strategies and objectives

  • The point person for all marketing resources around our product portfolios. Actively assist the AD's with customers and strategy development utilizing these resources with a goal to get broader and deeper in our accounts.

  • Bridge between other Sanofi organizational functions

  • Knowledge Transfer and Communication

  • Provide customer specific feedback and input to brand teams, business intelligence and payer marketing

  • Share best practices among Account Teams and Customer Engagement Executives

  • Identify Market Access training needs

  • Alongside Director, Product Marketing, identify and implement product specific training needs

  • Alongside Senior Director, identify and implement other non-product specific training needs

  • Link to Sales Leadership as appropriate

• This position will require close interaction and collaboration with key departments such as sales, commercial support, business intelligence, finance, patient management, medical affairs, health outcomes, market research and brand teams.

• Responsible for developing value and communications platforms, materials and tools.

• Collaborating with the brand team to develop best-in-class educational personal and non-personal educational programs for market access stakeholders

•Develop best in class tactical programs targeted to educate key stakeholders.

•Monitor performance through regular tracking of key metrics to include contracting and specialty pharmacy agreements.

• Responsible for executing against net pricing recommendations across channels.

• Assume lead role in account team education and training activities.

• Responsible for managing suppliers and agencies in relevant areas such as marketing, to align activities and deliverables with overall brand and market access & reimbursement, and contracting strategy

• Collaborate with market research to develop and execute primary research to develop commercial access messaging.

• Structure and collaborate with brands on patient copay support programs.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of market access and reimbursement experience

Education:

• Bachelor's degree required. Advanced degree (MBA) a plus but not required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrate deep business acumen and fundamental understanding of the business segments, issues and trends within the national payers and across the healthcare delivery system.

  • Demonstrated understanding of pharmaceutical marketing/market access strategies and regulatory/compliance environment

  • Strategic and critical thinking, planning, communication, and analytical skills

  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written skills and the ability to interact professionally

  • Ability to plan, execute, manage projects and work across matrix teams from development through implementation

  • Demonstrated ability to be solution-oriented through the application of advanced problem solving skills and in garnering cross-functional support as required.

  • High level of emotional intelligence with the proven ability to recognize customer needs and develop valuable and meaningful solutions.

  • Demonstrated team leadership across multiple cross-functional teams and ability to work collaboratively with excellent interpersonal and team management skills

  • Strong organizational and operations skills, attention to details.

  • Maintain a valid driver’s license and drive a company car in a safe manner to daily meetings and appointments

  • Adhere to all laws and regulations related to the pharmaceutical industry and compliance requirements of Sanofi per Corporate Policies.
