Today CEPIA US groups different functions (API Sales,CDMO,QA/RA,Finance, Supply chain, CDMO) organized vertically , each of them reporting to CEPIA Corporate . We are seeking a leader to define the global CEPIA US strategy and align and lead all the functions in the same direction.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Promote, develop and optimize API Sales to third parties in the US market : API on catalogue from the 4 Business Units and Francopia+ contract development and manufacturing services(CDMO) that are performed in sanofi facilities.

Define a commercial and marketing strategy in relation with US specificities and implement relevant business models for each Business Unit, Francopia and CDMO activities allowing sustainable sales growth, as well as sites’ activity while optimizing the level of margin.

Build and deploy robust prospecting plan, with priorization aligned with CEPiA global strategy

For every customer request, for timely decision making process, ensure adequate interaction within CEPiA (Business Units Management, Management Committee) and stake holders management across organizations within Chemistry & Biochemistry organization (Captive + CEPiA)

Drive commercial discussions with External Customers / Partners in the US

Anchor CEPiA in the US pharmaceutical market through appropriate Communication

Strategy

  • Build and achieve budget and 5 years Long Range Plan.

  • Manage the P&L of CEPIA US Zone, sales/margin/profitability

  • Manage / develop CEPiA US team (approximatively 15 people)

SKILL SET:

Solid background in API pharmaceutical operations (sales, quality, regulatory, technical or supply chain)

· Strong Knowledge of the market, competitors and customers in Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy or a business related field

· Minimum of 10 years overall experience in API sales

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Business communication in English

Business management in API. Finance / business planning
