Sanofi Group Associate Director of Media Planning and Execution in Bridgewater, New Jersey

As part of the Omnichannel Team within the US GenMeds organization supporting Diabetes, Transplant, Cardiovascular and Established Products, the Associate Director of Media Planning and Execution will provide world class media expertise subject matter expert in media planning across all media channels: e.g., TV/Video, Print, Paid Search, Digital (social, programmatic display, Point-of-Care/OOH etc.), to deliver brand communications that promote a superior customer experience and drive business results. He/she will report to the Director of Media.

The ideal candidate is one who possesses a unique balance of strategic, technical depth and strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record. S/he is comfortable working within a large, matrixed organization and has a strong ability to navigate complex business structures. S/he knows how to create and manage a project plan, identifying and resolving problems along the way, while keeping multiple stakeholders involved.


Agency Management

  • Drive development of campaign-level scopes of work from media agencyand ensure that agency staffing plan is appropriate toexecute within the agreed upon SLAs.

  • Lead oversight of all aspects of media investment:media buying process,budget management, billing reconciliation, etc.

Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the ongoing link between brand marketers, procurement, and the media agency, from planning through tactical execution & optimizations.

  • Co-lead and execute optimization recommendations of existing performance dashboard to ensure media performance insights are readily identifiable

Media Channel Management and Optimization

  • Drive media campaignexecutionand channel troubleshooting

  • Provide consistent media campaign/channel performance readouts to business stakeholders

  • Establish and share media best practices and benchmarks across BU; highlighting opportunities to test, learn and optimize/evolve


  • 4-year degreerequired.

  • 7+ years’ experience in marketing program execution or media agency required, pharmaceutical experience preferred.

  • Strong project management skills and an ability to work under tight deadlinesandaligning with internalcross-functional support teamsrequired.

  • Experiencemanagingmediaagencies, capability vendors,required.

  • Proven ability to develop and manage paid media plans that meet/exceed business objectives preferred
