Sanofi Group Analyst, Reverse Logistics - Vaccines in Bridgewater, New Jersey

The Analyst, Reverse Logistics, handles day to day operations of reverse logistics dedicated to managing returns and adjustments. This position is responsible for complying with all applicable SOX and internal controls, maintaining all relevant department KPIs, building effective and collaborative stakeholder relationships, and seeking opportunities to improve related department processes and systems. The Analyst, Reverse Logistics, is responsible for delivering on service levels for adjustments and returns and relationships with customers and delivering the highest level of service and preferred partner status. Provides premium service and support to customers, as defined by individual or unique customer needs, benchmarking efforts, and collaboration with the department on specific ways to ensure the best level of ser vice.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Customer-focused Relationships

Responsible for the maintenance of partnerships with internal and external customers and vendors including but not limited to:

  • Close collaboration on credits, claims, deductions

  • Impeccable communications and notifications to trade customers around credit processing and deduction resolution

  • Manage operational relationship and reporting capabilities with the third party returns processor (Inmar)

  • Monthly operational reviews to review service levels and metrics with customer and vendors on Returns and Deductions.

  • Work with top tier customers on process changes and improvements

  • Manage the downstream indirect customer relationships and other third party processors

  • Build and ensure team strong alliances with the CI2C and One Trade team to align with trade strategy and incorporate into our book of business

  • Work with One trade team, DC/transportation SMEs, brands to provide recommendations on reduction in returns volume as well as minimize deductions.

Credit and Deductions Management:

Responsible for the timely, accurate and compliant processing of all trade orders including but not limited to:

  • Ensures returns have been credited appropriately based on Trade Terms/Returns policy and customer contracts; including all SOX and internal controls

  • Analyzes returns; scrutinize and investigate pricing conditions and contract related issues

  • Ensure timely and accurate communications to business when issues arise around returns and deductions

  • Execute and advise on process efficiencies to better anticipate customer needs, focus on flexibility in business practices, and promote adaptation to evolve based on urgent needs

  • Provide timely and useful updates on credits and deductions to the customers

  • Support brands for metrics and ad hoc returns reports on a regular basis

  • Work with CI2C and contracts on any invoice or credit discrepancies and deduction resolution

  • Handle complexities and work on projects with ITS for process improvements around returns processing

  • Responsible to provide assistance for internal/external audit requests related to returns/adj for Vaccines NA

Continuous Improvement:

  • Attends regular meetings with key stakeholders and leadership to review results, trends, and identify opportunities to improve processes, service levels, results, costs and customer satisfaction.

  • Visits vendor and distribution centers as needed to collaborate or opportunities to improve results.

  • Collaborates with internal distribution centers on areas of opportunity for improved or more efficient service.

  • Works with stakeholders and team members across an international environment and across multiple departments and functions.

  • Must be able to break down silos or barriers that resist change or collaboration.

  • Collaborate efficiently with all stakeholders to ensure consistency between the project plan and the completion of operational goals.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience.

  • Bachelors Degree preferred with at least 1 year of experience in pharma supply chain and/or customer service.
