The Quality Academy Business Partner position will provide leadership and oversight of GMP and GDP Training activities for Sanofi Pasteur. Through collaboration with training partners at Sanofi Pasteur sites, Sanofi, and Specialty Care in alignment with the SP Training Quality System will develop, deploy, continually improve and administer programs to enhance regulatory compliance, drive a quality mindset and meet business objectives, in a manner that maximizes efficiency, complies with corporate GMP and GDP guidance and achieves desired compliance targets.

Summary of Key Accountabilities:

  • Contribute to and support the development and execution of the 5 Year Roadmap/Strategy

  • Supporting the SP IA Sites with training and compliance expertise

  • Acts as an internal consultant to find solutions to Global and Site challenges where training and education can be the solution

  • Understands business acumen and how training, skill development and education can support the business to meet its demands of the Pharmaceutical Industry in a compliant manner

  • Helps to drive the future of the company by evoking innovative training solutions to help Sites meet business challenges in a compliant and consistent manner

All SP Sites and SP Global Functions:

  • The position will require direct interface with personnel across various Sanofi functions (ITS, Sanofi Global Quality and Sanofi University) and external contractors

Responsibilities Include the Following:

  • Provide strategic leadership with key stakeholders for example: SP Sites, SP Global Quality, Sanofi University, Other Learning Teams across Sanofi, and ITS

  • Possess strong Leadership, Change Management, Communication and Project Management skills. Includes oversight for project budget and project plan

  • Knowledgeable in the Learning and Development processes and tools, this includes Instructional Design, Content Development, Content Curation, Learning Evaluation Methodologies, and the current approved tools in the Learning and Development Process

Content Development and Curation Includes:

  • Leads global cross-function teams to develop innovative learning solutions to support the SPQA Roadmap

  • Acumen to synthesize storyboard to design and develop interactive and engaging online training content

  • Design and develop knowledge and performance-based learning checks and assessments

  • Lead the creation of a Content Curation Strategy that includes: Identification, Filtering, Contextualization, Sharing and Continuous Improvement. Reviewing technology platform set-ups for courses to ensure accuracy

  • Create the technical requirements for external vendors. Ensure the technical requirements are met by Vendors to ensure compliance. The requirements are aligned with Sanofi University’s standards

  • Analyze evaluation and performance data to continuously optimize the course portfolio and Learner Experience

  • Create Course Descriptions for website, catalog, and technology platforms in partnership with subject matter experts and the CommUNITY

  • Lead the development of a Translation strategy and process for Global Curricula. This includes interacting with internal/external stakeholders and understanding latest trends in translation tools

  • Lead the uploading of courses in the LMS, the testing of the courses and curricula, and the Assignment strategy at the Global Level

Education Requirements:

  • Graduate/Degree in life science/biology, technology, or equivalent experienced required

  • 8-10 years of experience with learning management systems, and various learning tools or equivalent

  • 5-8 years of experience in a GMP and/or GDP or regulated environment including experience with biotech/pharmaceutical regulatory expectations and inspections

  • Working in global organization and familiar with how to interact with different cultures

Key Technical Competencies and Soft Skills:

  • High level knowledge of the quality systems, knowledge of global guidelines and policies

  • Expertise in the development of education programs in either eLearning, instructor-led delivery methods or various digital modalities

  • Solid comprehension of adult learning theories

  • Knowledge and Experience in learning measurement and evaluation

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Detailed oriented with strong analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Highly proficient with MS Office applications

  • Excellent management skills (transverse) with a personal leadership

  • High ability to build and maintain efficient professional relationship with these partners and stakeholders
