Sanofi Group Head of Patient and Provider Services, MSOI in Allston, Massachusetts

The Head of Patient and Provider Services, MSOI, reports to the Head of MSOI NA. The MSOI Therapeutic Area (TA) PSP Leads will have a dotted line reporting relationship into the Head of Patient and Provider Services, MSOI.

The Head of Patient and Provider Services, MSOI, will support the patient support programs (PSPs) across MSOI Therapeutic Areas (TAs) to ensure sharing of best practices, audit readiness, SOP compliance and cross TA management of third party PSP vendors. In addition, the Head of Patient and Provider Services, MSOI, will be responsible for developing an MSOI NA strategic PSP road map to ensure a continued focus on innovation, maximum efficiency and optimal patient support.

The Head of Patient and Provider Services, MSOI, will:

  • Working closely with legal, compliance, medical, PV, and TA PSP Leads ensure that all programs maintain the highest level of ethics and compliance with all relevant SOPs

  • Support the Teams in preparing for all scheduled audits across therapeutic areas

  • Understand best practices in each core function of PSPs, including measurement and metrics to assess effectiveness and continuous improvement

  • Convene forums to ensure sharing of best practices across all MSOI PSPs

  • Work closely with the TA PSPs and procurement to manage key issues with third party PSP vendors

  • Participate in any RFPs for PSP vendors

  • Support launch teams in leveraging learnings and ensuring readiness for optimal patient support upon FDA approval

  • Create a strategic roadmap for the future of MSOI PSPs to ensure continued innovation, maximum efficiency and optimal patient support

The ideal candidate should have outstanding strategic, analytic, and operational skills. Strong interpersonal skills are critical, including building strong working relationships, and managing and resolving conflict. The candidate must also demonstrate leadership, initiative, cross-functional collaboration and accountability. Superb communication skills; oral and written, including presentation skills are required.

This position is based in Cambridge, MA.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred

  • 15+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry

  • 7-10 years of previous leadership experience in patient services, call center operations, reimbursement, or marketing in a specialty market

  • Ability to travel up to 30% of time

Preferred Qualifications

  • MS, RA, Oncology, Dermatology and/or Respiratory experience a plus

  • Experience with products that have a REMS

  • Experience with biologic self-injectable or infused products

  • Experience with call center technology and/or third party PSP vendor management
